hedghehog: thanks! about the wallpapers, i actually made the first one after i made the second one. I didn't like the second one that much so i kind of redid it and made the first image. glad it turned out more likeable!

Are they different then when I first PMed you on ff.net? Two ideas... It shoud be State Your Designation instead of know it... also, I don't like the top picture of the bat cocktail X7s... but they are great :) I did download them afterall...

yep, they're the same. I was thinking of using "state your designation" actually, but I chose "know your designation" because i was going for the "in-manticore" feel, where the soldiers shouldn't have to be asked their designation since their loyalty to manticore is solid. unlike with the escapees...

but "state your designation" could work just the same. but i think it would convey different meanings...hmm...not sure now...

lol i can't say im fond of the x7s either, but i ran out of good sized pictures to used for the wallpaper...O:-) I'm hoping to find a program that will allow me to make my own screencaps from the videos of the various eps i have. Most of the DA images I have were downloaded years ago and are really small. They don't work well for wallpapers. Until i get new images, I won't really be able to make more wallpapers. :-\ Most of the images i have are manticore images since I was most interested in manticore, lol.

I've been thinking of making a lydecker one though...just gotta gather pics again. -sighs-

Oh pics are easy! I take them on window's movie maker, you might try windows media player... the best way is using InterVideo WinDVD, I have a tablet pc, windows, hp... I have a DVD/CD player that connects to it, and that is the program I have to play them DVDs, the caps are the best from that program, if you have no way to play them on your computer you can download epis at:

hmm, there's a way to take them on windows movie maker? wait, i think i know what you mean, but that's one at a time, isn't it? Using the ctrl+prt screen button?

I already have all the episodes - i ripped them off the dvds, haha. So it's just a matter of getting the caps.

I'm kind of hoping to find a program that will allow me to capture a lot of images at once - like every 30 seconds of the episode or something. More like every one or 2 minutes so that I"m not stuck with loads of images, but thats what i mean. I"m kind of lazy and don't feel like capturing one image at a time by hand....but I've done that before...and probably will do it if I ever get the motivation to, but until then...

Unless you mean you've used those programs to capture images in that manner...? If you have, please tell. Cus I'm clueless on how to do it! :)

Well, I'm looking around now. Here's one:

I downloaded it and tried it. It does bulk captures, but it literally captures every single frame. I'm hoping to find one where you can adjust to setting to ever few seconds, cus right now, I'm getting huge captures of one thing over and over again lol. But the images aren't bad.
