I think itunes can open that file, and if itunes can open that file, then you can easily convert it to another file format:

Edit > Preferences > Advanced Tab > Import Using: (select MP3)

Then apply the changes.

Then select the song you want to convert.

Advanced > Convert Selection to MP3

And you should end up with a new MP3 song in the same location as the original.

ok scrap the last one, i found out how to do it using Ulead VideoStudio. Now i have 2 clips. I want the sound on 1 clip to be muted but then to gradually go down a bit so you can hear the guy in the second clip's voice. How can i do this by using the same music clip?

In this case i would prefer the program Ulead VideoStudio 11. There you can speed up and down single clips the way you like. Like 20% faster or slower like every you want.

You could create the sound or music part as a single audio track and put it than extra in the program.

i'm pretty sure that you can do that with a "video maker" like uldea video studio, but i don't know this type of software, so i can't tell you how doing.
But i think you can find a second choice solution, by using a software for sound, like audacity, that one of my friend uses for mixing music : if in your video, we had to heard music for 1 mn, and then the music disapear gradually for permit to heard a voice, in audacit, put your music, and don't touch her for the first minute, after that, make her disapear gradually, and save the result as a new file. Then, use this new file for make you video, i think it can running... .

bye!

I never used ulead but people told me about it...
Personally, I use Sony Vegas Pro 9. It's a very good software, a bit hard to use at first but you get used... However, I think you need a powerful computer because with mine, after making a video it gets really hot!^^'
Yeah! promote DA people!! :freak:
